The Emeralds are an eight piece Jazz & Swing and party band band with three piece horn section, double (upright) and electric bass, piano, guitar, drums, and female vocals featuring musicians and vocals of the highest calibre. With Caitlen Bailey on lead vocals who has a sultry and powerful quality, has extensive experience as a vocalist performing many genres of music both in the UK and internationally. The musicians are all graduates of the Leeds College of Music and are all hugely experienced.
The Emeralds perform from an extensive repertoire and can perform a slick jazz swing style set and then team it up with a floor filling function band set to crank the party up to the next level. Also performing jazz standards, covering classics from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Nina Simone you can be sure of The Emeralds providing a show full of class and swing.
