Create Moments to Remember

Let our acts take centre stage and blow you and your guests away with their performance.

We're an old-school pub-rock rhythm and blues type band: think Eddie and the Hot Rods, Dr Feelgood, Wilko Johnson, The Count Bishops, The Cannibals. We first played together in the early 1980s then split for 28 years or so before getting back together.

Our set is along the same lines as our influences, in that we play a mix of covers, from garage rock to souped up blues, plus original songs. Our covers are pretty obscure: we don't do "Mustang Sally" and pop hits.

You'll book us if you remember the heyday of stripped-down rocking R&B played in small sweaty venues to wildly enthusiastic crowds. We are almost certainly the best live band you haven't seen yet.

From 2018 as well as the full electric band we will also be available for stripped down, acoustic/lower volume bookings.

    The Bronsons

A set including The Bronsons' take on a couple of songs covered by Dr Feelgood, plus a couple covered by Lew Lewis; a smattering of garage rock from the sixties ("Good Guys Don't Wear White") and the seventies (the legendary "Just for Fun"). Original songs featuring robberies, rockabilly girls and filthy money. One guitar (probably a Gretsch or a Deusenberg), one bass, one drummer, two Bronsonettes and Mr James Bronson on lead vocal and harmonica.
