Scott Howland is a 25 Year Old, Singer Songwriter from England. He has been writing and performing music since the age of 20, both solo and with a band. He plays guitar and has a strong folk/indie-pop feel to his music.
He is building contacts all over the music industry and has recently worked closely with an Italian music producer and tripped to Nashville, TN to visit promoters and producers across Music City. Influenced by various artists including Arctic Monkeys, Ed Sheeran, Rolling Stones and Mumford and Sons, there is a lot of melodic thought put into the songs, and mix this with some emotional lyrics, there is a unique sound brought forward by this young singer songwriter.
He has recently (April 2015) released his debut EP and it reached number 14 in the iTunes Chart, whilst still being an independent unsigned artist. His next single was released on October 4th 2015, available on all major digital retailers including Spotify, iTunes Apple Music, Google Play and Amazon Music and reached number 32 on the iTunes chart! He has played a couple of big support slo shows around this time in both Birmingham and Brighton before One Direction and Tom Mann (Stereo Kicks) respectively.
Further accolades include performing as a support act for Olly Murs and being on the lineups for Livestock Festival and Sunshine Festival in 2015 with the likes of UB40, Scouting for Girls, The Feeling and The Hoosiers to name a few. He has also completed a mini tour for his EP release playing Worcester, Brighton, Birmingham, Cornwall and Cheltenham respectively.
With BBC Introducing success, by the means of 'Track of the Day' for The South and 'Track of the Week' for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and songs forwarded to BBC Radio 1, 2015 has been a huge success for this unsigned artist.
