'More Is More’ is an exciting collaboration of some of the best young instrumentalists of their generation playing their own innovative brand of totally improvised groove music.
Comprised of Bachelor and Masters Graduates from Trinity Laban conservatoire, this project is as revolutionary in its attitude towards performance as it is unconventional in its line up.
The Band is –Ben Treacher on alto and soprano saxophones, Greg Sinclair on Tenor Saxophone, Alex Chadwick on Baritone Saxophone and Rob Hervais-Adelman on Portable, customised drum kit.
Together and individually they have played at venues such as the O2, NIA Birmingham, the Royal Albert Hall, the Union Chapel, the Southbank centre, main stages at Shambala, Bestival, and Boomtown festivals, and have performed with artists such as Beverley Knight, Lee Ryan and Beardyman.
The Band works well both on stage and as a roaming/ mobile act thanks to the portability of all the instruments. They can also play totally unplugged so don't need access to power and can pop up anywhere and get people dancing!
More is More's explosive performances will leave you always wanting just that.
