Grew up in the Midlands and is now based in Brighton, Megan Lara Mae is a multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter committed to creating ethereal music.
Megan was classically trained in voice and piano and performed in a number of musicals and choirs before discovering her love of songwriting. Megan is also a keen busker and loves sharing her music on the streets with local residents.
Taking inspiration from artists such as Lauren Aquilina, Rae Morris, Saint Raymond and Jake Isaac; Megan fuses her classical technicalities with ambience and soul to create a melodic intangible kind of art.
‘Father Father’ is the new single from Megan Lara Mae, released independently May 28th 2016. The single explores Megan’s own spiritual journey while capturing the artist’s musical vision and ambitions.
