Lou's Sextet plays a variety of music - Swing, Mainstream Jazz, Latin, Blues, Jump Jive and numbers with a more funky vibe. Our great vocalist adds a touch of Sinatra as well as lots of other styles with his great voice and trade-mark hat.
Whether you’re after a mellow, swinging background for something like a reception or an upbeat, lively performance for a pub, party or function, we can adapt to the mood of the event. Our skilled and experienced musicians see to that, as well, of course, as our wide and varied repertoire.
Presentation is very important to us, and we are well rehearsed, dress up and 'put on a show'. We like the band to be a unit, musically and as a group of friends and think our enjoyment comes through in our music.
We play at parties, anniversaries, weddings, charity events, supper dances and, of course, pubs.
We are also keen to play specialist jazz venues.
