Originally from South Korea, Hockers is an acoustic singer- songwriter and guitarist, and has been described as having an eclectic style that blends soul, jazz, pop and soft rock with a powerful and emotive voice.
During his 10 year career as the front man of a rock band in Korea, Hockers played in a variety of high profile festivals and released an album.
Now an acoustic act, Hockers still works in a broad range of musical styles, with echoes of his formative rock career but now inspired by western classics such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson and Nina Simone.
His recent successes have included the following:

Hockers is based in London, gigging all around UK, both performing up close and personal acoustic gigs and larger band gigs. He continues to be inspired by the colourful and thriving arts and music community around him.
