Anglo-Italian pianist and singer Eric Ranzoni is a full-time musician.
Born in the swinging London of 1969, he spent the majority of his life between Rome and Milan. Since moving back to London in 2003 Eric has gained a reputation as an outstanding pianist with a distinctive singing style and a knack to entertain a crowd.
Solo or with other top musicians, Eric performs regularly in many venues in London and the UK, with frequent stints abroad.
Since 2009 Eric Ranzoni's also been the European pianist for Chicago singer Mud Morganfield, the eldest son of Blues legend Muddy Waters. With Mud, Eric has appeared on TV show 'Later with Jools Holland' on the BBC and played most of the major Blues/Jazz festivals in Europe.
Besides playing the Blues, Eric enjoys playing solo "piano bar" gigs as well, whether they be background music in a restaurant, a wild sing-along in a busy bar, function or wedding party. Eric's repertoire of over 400 standards includes nearly all music genres.
Eric has delighted ears at several corporate functions (Orange, Hugo Boss, Fitness First, Holmes Place, etc). Among the celebrities who have listened to his music over the years are musicians Jools Holland, Brian Ferry, Ray Cooper (Elton John's percussionist) and Sinead O'Connor, McLaren's boss Ron Dennis, artists Jack Vettriano and Damien Hirsts, TV hosts Jerry Springer and Chris Evans, actors Helen Mirren, Hugh Grant and Dave Soul (of 'Starsky & Hutch' fame), F1 pilot Damon Hill, Nancy Dell'Olio, footballer Ray Wilkins and, allegedly, even Prince William.
